At Boodle’s Concrete we have a fleet of water trucks ready to get onsite whenever you need. Our water carts are perfect for wetting, cleaning and dust suppression on large road construction sites, or smaller civil projects. Our water trucks and road trucks are available for wet hire either in conjunction with our concreting services or on their own.

Our fleet of different size water trucks are used on a range of work sites because they are so versatile. Water carts for hire have become an increasingly important truck to have on site, as requirements around dust suppression become stricter. Our fleet of water trucks are more than able to fulfil these requirements and any other job that requires a water cart.

All of our water truck operators are equipped with the experience and qualifications to complete even the most difficult water cart requirements. We also offer water trucks on dry hire to suit the needs of our project and company. The water trucks are maintained and serviced by our team to ensure all the components are functional when they go onto a worksite.

What is a Water Truck used for?

Water trucks are used on construction sites where large amounts of dust is created, including road construction and infrastructure works. It is a requirement in Australia to actively undertake dust suppression measures and the best way to do that is with water carts.

Using a dribble bar on a water truck to wet the ground stops loose dirt from blowing off the worksite. Water trucks are also used to clean sites down once the construction has finished, or clean a site that has been contaminated. Water carts can provide water to gardens and agriculture that can’t be reached from a water main.
